So I just recently finished a marathon of 6 days of shooting dance at the 2018 BC Annual Dance Competition.

So after about 15,000 clicks, marvelling at 370+ dancers competing in over 90 categories and performing a total of 827 solos & duets and 249 group choreographs… plus 1 Gala performance, there’s a lot to digest. A wee selection of images below.

You can browse through the full gallery of images here… best viewed with a diverse soundtrack playing in the background, from swing to hip hop, spoken word, experimental, classical and more (and, yes, as much Adele and Bon Iver as you can handle). Seriously, though, do try browsing dance photos with music in the background, it really does have an impact!

Here’s the thing: I’ve put together a little feedback survey to get a better idea of what kinds of photos and services are most appreciated by dancers, their families, and fans.
